Eligibility Criteria


Teaching Staff

Educational qualifications are as per CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws and AWES norms.

TGT (Essential):

  • Four-year Integrated Degree Course from Regional College of Education (NCERT) with 50% marks
    OR
  • Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks and three-year integrated B.Ed/M.Ed
    OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in concerned subject and B.Ed from recognized University
  • Must have passed CTET/TET
  • Proficiency in English medium teaching
  • Knowledge of Computer Application (Desirable)
  • AWES OST qualified candidates with valid score card preferred

PRT (Essential):

  • Graduation with minimum 50% marks
  • B.El.Ed / Two-year D.El.Ed
  • CTET/TET qualified
  • English medium proficiency
  • Knowledge of computer application
  • AWES OST preferred

Special Educator:
Graduate with B.Ed (Special Education) or B.Ed General with One Year Diploma in Special Education.

Counsellor:
Graduation with Psychology and Diploma/Certificate in Counselling with minimum 3 years experience.

Headmistress:

  • Graduate with minimum 50% marks
  • B.Ed/M.Ed/B.El.Ed or Diploma in Elementary Education
  • Minimum 8 years teaching experience (5 years as PRT in CBSE school)
  • CTET & OST qualified
  • Age: Maximum 55 years

Non-Teaching & Administrative Staff

Science Lab Attendant: 10+2 with Science / Graduation in Science Stream and Computer literate

Head Clerk: Graduate (Preferably Ex-Serviceman), 5–10 years office management experience, MS Office proficiency

UDC/LDC: Graduate (relaxation for Ex-Servicemen), computer literate, 12000 key depressions/hour typing speed

Accounts Clerk: Commerce Graduate with 5 years experience, knowledge of accounting software & Excel

Driver: Preferably matriculate with valid HMV/HTV license

Group ‘D’ & Peon: Preferably matriculate

Ayas: Female candidates, minimum 5th pass

Age Limit (As on 01 April 2026)


  • Fresh Candidates: Below 40 years
  • Experienced Candidates: Below 55 years
  • Administrative Staff: Up to 55 years
  • Includes Ex-Servicemen with minimum 5 years experience in last 10 years

Selection Process


  • Written Test: 26 February 2026
    (Not applicable for Music, Dance, Computer, Art/Craft, PTI, Counsellor, Librarian, Non-Teaching & Administrative posts)
  • Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be informed via Telephone / Email / SMS
  • Teaching Skill Evaluation includes:
  1. Teaching Practice (Demo Class)
  2. Written Test (Language Teachers – 30 Marks)
  3. Computer Proficiency Test (Except PTI, Art & Craft, Dance Teacher)

No TA/DA will be paid.

School bus facility available from Jammu to Rakhmuthi (Approx. 1 hour).
