The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has released a notification inviting online applications for 197 Apprentice posts under the Northern Region. The engagement includes Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Trade apprentices in engineering, IT, and other technical fields. Interested candidates can apply through the official AAI website from 11 July to 11 August 2025.
As per the official notification issued on 14 July 2025, the minimum age for applicants is 18 years, and the maximum is 26 years as on 11 August 2025. Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend depending on their qualification, ranging from ₹9,000 for ITI holders to ₹15,000 for graduate apprentices. There is no application fee for any category of candidates.
Candidates must have a full-time regular degree or diploma in relevant engineering disciplines recognized by AICTE or possess ITI/NCVT certificates in Computer Operator Programming Assistant or Steno. Applications must be submitted online only at aai.aero before the deadline.

Vacancy Details:
The recruitment aims to fill 197 apprentice positions. These include 33 Graduate Apprentices (Civil, Electrical, Electronics, IT, Mechanical/Automobile, BCA), 96 Diploma Apprentices (across similar disciplines including Computer Application), and 68 Trade Apprentices (60 in Computer Operator Programming Assistant and 8 in Steno).

Eligibility Criteria:
For Graduate Apprentices, candidates should possess a four-year regular degree in relevant engineering or computer science disciplines. Diploma apprentices must have a three-year regular diploma in the relevant field. For ITI trade apprentices, candidates should hold an ITI/NCVT certificate in COPA or Stenography. The age limit is 18 to 26 years as on 11 August 2025, with applicable relaxations.

Candidates fulfilling the criteria should submit their application online through the official AAI portal at www.aai.aero within the stipulated dates.
Selection Process:
The selection will be based on merit drawn from the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification applicable to the respective trade. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. Final selection will be subject to the successful verification of documents.
