Academic Qualifications:
A graduate degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university. The degree should be in a subject taught in the Middle/Primary classes of Air Force School. Candidates with a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject will also be eligible.
Professional Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Experience
At least two years of teaching experience as a PGT/TGT/PRT, or At least three years of experience as an NTT, or At least two years of experience as a Principal/Headmaster/Headmistress in an Air Force School.
Age Criteria
Age limit: 25 to 50 years as of 1st July 2025.
Age relaxation:
Women and physically challenged candidates: Up to 5 years.
Ex-servicemen: Service period in the Armed Forces can be deducted from their actual age (up to 3 years).
Former Air Force School staff: Relaxation equal to their tenure in the Air Force School.
Desirable Qualifications
- Proficiency in English communication (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Knowledge of computer applications, especially MS Office.
- Familiarity with POCSO Act, CBSE rules, NCERT guidelines, etc.
- Attendance in educational workshops.
- Ability to communicate in Hindi.
- CTET/STET qualification (additional weightage during selection).
