Air Force School Jammu has released an official notification inviting online applications for various teaching positions on regular, contractual, and part-time basis. These include posts for PGT Mathematics, TGT Hindi, TGT Sanskrit, PRT, and NTT for the academic session 2025-26.
The school is a non-governmental, non-profit institution managed under the Indian Air Force Educational and Cultural Society. Selected candidates will be empaneled and appointed based on requirement during the session. All applications must be submitted online via the school website as no hard copies will be accepted.
The online application window is open from 30th May 2025 to 8th June 2025. Selection will be based on a written test, teaching aptitude test, practical technology test, and interview. Candidates are advised to keep checking the school website for exam dates and further updates.

Eligibility Criteria of Teaching Posts at Air Force School Jammu: Details are given as follows:-
Educational Qualifications:
For PGT Mathematics: Master’s degree with 50% in Mathematics and overall, plus B.Ed.
For TGT Hindi/Sanskrit: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 50% in subject and aggregate, plus B.Ed.
For PRT: Senior Secondary with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent. B.Ed. also acceptable.
For NTT: Senior Secondary with Nursery Teachers Training or Montessori diploma or equivalent. Preference to diploma holders.
Age Limit:
Candidates should be between 21 to 50 years as on 01 July 2025.
Women, physically challenged, and ex-servicemen are eligible for relaxation as per rules.
Candidates with prior experience in Air Force Schools are also eligible for age relaxation.
Other Requirements:
Fluency in English communication is essential for all posts except Sanskrit.
Basic computer knowledge and CTET/STET qualification are desirable.
Application Process for Air Force School Jammu 2025:
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply through the official portal of Air Force School Jammu at www.afsjammu.co.in from 30th May to 8th June 2025. No offline applications will be accepted.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of a written examination, followed by a Teaching Aptitude Test (TAT), Practical Technology Test, and an interview. The written exam will carry 70 marks, and candidates scoring 60% or more will qualify for TAT. Final selection is based on cumulative performance.
