All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Vijaypur, Jammu has invited online applications from eligible candidates for Senior Resident and Demonstrator positions under the Employment Notification No. 11/2025. This is a rolling advertisement for various medical specialties, where applications will be processed in cycles. The current recruitment cycle is Cycle–1, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for walk-in interviews tentatively from 20 June 2025 onwards.
According to the official notification of AIIMS Vijaypur, this recruitment aims to fill 70 posts across multiple medical and non-medical departments. The upper age limit for the posts is 45 years, with relaxations as applicable. Selected candidates will receive a salary based on Level 11 or Level 10 of the 7th CPC pay matrix, depending on qualification type.

Educational Qualifications:
Medical Candidates (Senior Residents): Postgraduate degree (MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCh/DNB) in the concerned specialty from a recognized university or institute.
Non-Medical Candidates (Senior Demonstrators): M.Sc./M.Biotech with Ph.D. in the concerned subject or allied subject.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 45 years as on 14 June 2025. Age relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 to 15 years for PwBD depending on category, and 5 years for Ex-servicemen.
Other Requirements: Registration with MCI/DCI or State Medical Council is required for medical candidates. Non-Medical candidates must meet applicable criteria based on department. Those who have completed 3 years residency are not eligible.
How to Apply:
Applicants must apply online through the AIIMS Vijaypur official portal from 30 May to 14 June 2025. After submitting the form online, a printed, signed copy with self-attested documents must be submitted during the interview.
Application Fee: The application fee is Rs. 1500 for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 1000 for SC/ST/EWS candidates. No fee is applicable for PwBD candidates. Payment must be made online.
Selection Process: The selection will be based on interview only. The interview will carry 100 marks and will be conducted department-wise. In case of tie, preference will be given to the older candidate (by date of birth). Final merit will be prepared on the basis of interview marks.
