Eligibility Criteria of ADA Project Scientist Vacancies
Educational Qualification
First class BE or B Tech or equivalent degree in relevant Engineering discipline from a recognised university or equivalent.
Higher qualifications such as Masters or PhD are desirable. They may get weightage in experience calculation as mentioned.
Experience Requirement
Project Scientist ‘E’ Mechanical Engineering:
10 to 15 years experience in design, development and qualification testing of landing gear system of military aircraft.
Project Scientist ‘D’ Civil Engineering:
7 to 10 years experience in SOC or DPR preparation, AutoCAD or 3ds Max or SketchUp drafting, quantity surveying, tendering on DefProc or GeM portals.
Project Scientist ‘D’ Electrical and Electronics Engineering:
7 to 10 years experience in e-tendering or GeM, estimation, bill scrutiny, site supervision, labour law and safety management.
Project Scientist ‘C’ Civil Engineering:
3 to 7 years experience in similar areas as Project Scientist ‘D’ Civil.
Project Scientist ‘C’ Electrical and Electronics Engineering:
3 to 7 years experience in similar areas as Project Scientist ‘D’ Electrical.
Age Limit (as on 19-01-2026)
Maximum age for Project Scientist ‘E’: 50 years
Maximum age for Project Scientist ‘D’: 45 years
Maximum age for Project Scientist ‘C’: 40 years
Overall age including relaxation shall not exceed 56 years as per rules.
Salary Details
Project Scientist ‘E’: Rs. 2,01,794 per month gross salary
Project Scientist ‘D’: Rs. 1,24,612 per month gross salary
Project Scientist ‘C’: Rs. 1,08,073 per month gross salary
A 7 percent annual increment will be provided after completion of one year.
Selection Process
Administrative screening followed by technical screening will be done. Technical screening will be based on qualification and relevant experience.
Shortlisted candidates may first attend a short online interview. Final selection will be based on marks obtained in the final personal interview only. Minimum qualifying marks in interview are 70 percent for all vacancies.

Candidates must first register online on the ADA website before the closing date. After registration, candidates have to fill separate applications for each post if applying for more than one.
All documents related to age, qualification and experience must be uploaded carefully. No corrections will be allowed after final submission. Candidates should keep a copy of the submitted application and must produce original documents during interview.
