Army Public Schools Rakhmuthi, Akhnoor and Nagrota have issued a notice inviting applications for regular teaching posts for the academic session 2026-27. The posts will be filled through the CSB process, and the interviews will be conducted at APS Rakhmuthi on behalf of HQ Northern Command.
As given in the notification, candidates will be selected based on evaluation of teaching skills, interviews and other requirements as per AWES norms. CTET is mandatory for TGT posts and OST qualified candidates will be preferred for TGT and PGT posts. Salary, DA and HRA will be as per AWES rules.

Important Dates:
The application process for the teaching posts will begin immediately as per the schedule given in the notice. Application forms will be available from 0900 hrs to 1400 hrs on working days. The last date to submit the application is 22 December 2025 by 1400 hrs.
Vacancy Details:
Army Public Schools have announced vacancies for TGT and PGT posts across different subjects. APS Rakhmuthi requires TGTs in Science. APS Akhnoor requires PGTs in English and Commerce. APS Nagrota requires PGTs in Physical Health Education and English, and TGTs in Physical Health Education, Art and Craft, Hindi and Social Studies.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should check the required educational qualifications as per CBSE affiliation bylaws before applying. CTET is mandatory for TGT applicants. OST is not mandatory for appearing in the interview, but selected candidates must qualify OST within two years with at least 50 percent marks. No TA or DA will be provided for interviews.
Applicants must send the filled form to the concerned school by post. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed about the interview schedule through phone or email. Army widows and wives of boarded-out personnel with 100 percent disability may also be considered without CSB and B.Ed as per AWES rules.

Application Fee:
The application fee is 250 rupees, to be paid through a demand draft in favour of APS Rakhmuthi payable at Akhnoor. No other payment method is mentioned in the notification.

The selection process will include an interview followed by an assessment of teaching proficiency. CTET and OST qualification will be given preference depending on the post. Final selection will be made as per AWES norms.
