Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has issued a notification for filling faculty positions in various Government Medical Colleges across Jammu and Kashmir. The 105 vacancies are available in Government Medical Colleges of Anantnag, Baramulla, Doda, Kathua, Rajouri, Handwara, and Udhampur. Applications are invited from domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir possessing the prescribed qualifications.
As per the notification, these faculty positions are for the post of Assistant Professor in multiple disciplines. The pay level is set at 11 (67700-208700). The online application process will start from 25 September 2025, and the last date to submit the form is 24 October 2025. Candidates can also edit certain fields in their applications between 25 October 2025 and 27 October 2025.
Applicants must carefully read the eligibility conditions before applying. They are also required to upload all necessary documents including educational certificates, domicile certificate, and experience certificates if applicable. The age limit will be reckoned as on 1 January 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying must possess MBBS, MD, MS, DNB, DM or M.Ch as per the requirements of the discipline. DNB candidates must have completed their qualification from a 500 bedded hospital or have one year Senior Residency or equivalent experience. Applicants must also be domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir. The minimum and maximum age will be considered with reference to 1 January 2025.
