Cluster University of Jammu has announced a recruitment opportunity for the position of Project Personnel under a JKST&IC funded research project. The recruitment is specifically for a project titled “Source and Fate of Micro-plastics in Aquatic Systems from Jammu Region,” based in the Department of Geology, School of Sciences.
The position is purely temporary and will be for a duration of six months. Candidates selected for this post will engage in field and laboratory investigations relevant to the research topic. Eligibility Criteria of Project Personnel Vacancy:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field. The university has also highlighted desirable experience areas to improve candidate suitability.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold an M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Earth Sciences or Environmental Studies with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. Relaxation in marks is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
Age Limit: The upper age limit for this post is 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates in accordance with government regulations.
Other Requirements: Candidates with experience in data analysis, sedimentology, geochemistry, and remote sensing will be preferred.
