Eligibility Criteria for EMRS TGT Recruitment 2023

Educational Qualification

| EMRS TGT | Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate. For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all three years. For TGT (English): English as a subject in all three years. For TGT (S.St): Any two of the following main subject at graduation level: History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography. For TGT (Maths) –Mathematics as the main subject at graduation level with one of the following as a second subject: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, economics, commerce and Statistics. For TGT (Science)- Bachelor’s Degree in Science with any two of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology and Chemistry AND B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University. Pass in the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose, and Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium. |

Age Limit
Below is the age limit for EMRS Teacher Bharti:
- For all TGT/ Hostel Warden posts: Maximum age should not exceed 35 years.
- Up to 55 years for EMRS employees.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST and other categories will be applicable as per the Government of India rules.
To be eligible for the EMRS Teacher Bharti, candidates must ensure they fall within the specified age brackets mentioned above.

Mode of Examination
EMRS Staff Selection Exam (ESSE-2023) will be conducted in “OMR Based (Pen-Paper)” mode.
Choice of Medium of Question/Exam Papers
Medium of Examination will be both Hindi and English. However, in case of TGTs, Miscellaneous Category Teachers and Hostel Warden, the Language Competency Test in Part-VI will be conducted in Regional Language opted by the candidate. Further, for the post of TGT (Third Language), the medium of test for Part-V (Domain Knowledge) will be in concerned third language.
