UPSC Recruitment 2024: Apply Online for Various Vacancies, Check procedure to Apply

UPSC Recruitment 2024: The Union Public Service Commission has invited applications for Assistant Director, Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Director, Assistant Controller, Training Officer, Assistant Professor and Senior Research Officer posts. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

The last date for the submission of online applications for the posts is 16 May 2024. Read below for eligibility, selection process and other details.

Vacancy Details: Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) are invited for Direct Recruitment by selection through the website https://www.upsconline.nic.in to the following posts from 13rd April 2024 to 02nd May 2024.

1) Assistant Director (Remote Sensing)
Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
Age Limit: 35 years for UR.
Qualification: M. Tech in Remote Sensing or Geomatics or Geoinformatics with B.Tech in any branch or with a B.Sc. in physics or Mathematics or Geography or Agriculture

2) Deputy Commissioner (NRM /RFS)
Pay Scale: Level- 12 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
Age Limit: 50 years for UR.
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Agronomy or Agriculture with Agronomy as a subject or Agricultural
Chemistry or Soil Science or Agricultural Extension or Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Botany or Master’s Degree in Forestry or Botany or Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering.

3) Deputy Director( Medical)
Pay Scale: Level- 11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA.
Age Limit: 50 years
Qualification: MBBS Degree

4) Assistant Controller of Mines
Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
Age Limit: 35 years for URs and 45 years for PwBDs.
Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mining Engineering Or Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Mining Engineering.

5) Training Officer (Women Training) – Interior Design and Decoration
Pay Scale: Level- 07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
Age Limit: 35 years for URs
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Interior Design and Decoration; with two years post-qualification experience in the relevant field of Teaching or Industry. OR Diploma in Engineering or Technology in Interior Design and Decoration with five years post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

6) Training Officer (Women Training)-Office Management
Pay Scale: Level- 07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
Age Limit: 35 years for URs and 35 years for SCs.
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Technology in Office Management or Secretarial Practice or Secretarial Services or Stenography (English).

7) Assistant Professor (Chemistry)
Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
Age Limit: 35 years for URs
Qualification: Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Chemistry. Or Ph.D. Degree in Chemistry from a Foreign University/Institution.

8) Assistant Professor (English)
Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
Age Limit: 40 years for STs
Qualification: Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in English Or Ph.D. Degree in English from a Foreign University/Institution.

9) Assistant Professor (Mathematics)
Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
Age Limit: 35 years for URs
Qualification: Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Mathematics Or Ph.D. Degree in Mathematics from a Foreign University/Institution.

10) Assistant Professor (Physics)
Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
Age Limit: 38 years for OBCs
Qualification: Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Physics. Or Ph.D. Degree in Physics from a Foreign University/Institution.

11) Assistant Professor (Hindi)
Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
Age Limit: 35 years for URs
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Hindi with 50% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed, M.Ed. Degree.

12) Senior Research Officer (Language Medium)
Pay Scale: Level- 11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
Age Limit: 40 years for URs
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Linguistics; or Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or related qualification.
