UPSC CDS Recruitment Notification 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Combined Defence Services Examination 2/2024 (CDS 2/2024) exam, inviting online applications for 459 vacancies. Candidates can apply online for UPSC CDS 2 from May 15, 2024. The exam will take place on September 1, 2024.
Candidates are required to apply online by using the website upsconline.nic.in. The Online Applications can be filled upto 04th June, 2024 till 6:00 PM.
Vacancy Details: Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2024 will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 01st September, 2024 for admission to the under mentioned courses:

Educational Qualification:
I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai: Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution
Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Age limit (as on July 01, 2025)
Candidates should have a 20 to 24 years of age limit. Check the notification link for details of the relaxation in age limit.
Application Fee: Applicants are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using internet banking facility of any Bank. However, Female/SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
