UPPSC Recruitment 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has begun the application process for the post of Staff Nurse Unani. The application process commenced today, December 4 and the deadline for the submission of the application form is January 1, 2024.

This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 27 vacancies of which 25 vacancies are for the post of Staff Nurse Unani (Female) and 2 vacancies are for the post of Staff Nurse Unani (Male).
- Staff Nurse Unani (Female): 25 Posts
- Staff Nurse Unani (Male): 02 Posts
Total Posts: 27
Educational Qualification:
(i) Have passed the High School examination with Science and passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of High School & Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh or an examination recognized by the government as equivalent.
(ii) Possess a diploma in Medical and Surgical Nursing (Unani) registered with the Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbi Medicine board of Uttar Pradesh.
(iii) Possess a diploma in Midwifery (Unani) registered with the Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbi Medicine Board of Uttar Pradesh.
(iv) Possess registration certificate as a Unani Nurse and Midwife (Dhatri) from the Ayurvedic and Unani
Tibbi Medicine Board of Uttar Pradesh.
Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 years on July 1, 2023 i.e. they must have not been born earlier than 2nd July, 1983 and not later than July 1, 2002.
Application Fee:
Candidates from the General/Economically weaker sections and other Backward class categories have to pay a total of ₹125 as examination fees at the time of application.
The application fee is ₹65 for the Scheduled Class/Scheduled Tribe categories and ex-servicemen category.
People with benchmark disability (PwBD) category candidates have to pay ₹25.
Salary: Grade pay 4600/- (Pay Scale level-7, pay matrix 44900-142400)
