UGC/AICTE scholarships: The registration process for UGC/AICTE scholarship schemes of the University Grants Commission (UGC) is going on.
Eligible candidates can avail benefits of these UGC/AICTE scholarships by applying through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at scholarships.gov.in.

1. UGC Ishan Uday Scholarship
Last Date: 31-10-2022
Eligibility: Students of North East states whose parental annual income does not exceed Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum from all sources.
Amount of Scholarship: Rs.5400/- per month for general degree course and Rs.7800/- per month for technical/medical/ professional/paramedical courses.

2. UGC PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship (for single girl child)
Last Date: 31-10-2022
Eligibility: Girl students who are admitted in the first year of PG courses in the UGC recognised colleges /universities. Girl students up to the age of 30 years at the time of admission in the first year of PG courses are eligible.
Amount of Scholarship: Rs.36,200 per annum

3. PG Scholarship for SC, ST students
Last Date: 31-10-2022
Eligibility: SC, ST students who are pursuing professional courses at UGC recognized institutions.
Candidates selected for the award of PG scholarships (under ME/MTech.) shall be provided
Amount of Scholarship: Scholarship of Rs.7800/-per month for the duration of the PG Scholarship. For other courses, the amount of scholarship will be paid of Rs.4500/- per month

4. PG Scholarship for University Rank Holders
Last Date: 31-10-2022
Eligibility: The first and second Rank holders at the undergraduate level of a university and admitted in any postgraduate course. The age limit for the students is 30 years at the time of admission in PG course.
Amount of Scholarship: Rs.3,100/- per month for a period of two years only i.e. full duration of a PG course
