SSC Sub Inspector Recruitment Notification 2024: The Staff Selection Commission has invited online applications for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in the Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Applications are required to be submitted in online mode only at the official website of SSC i.e., https://ssc.gov.in. Direct link to apply online is also available below.
As per the notice, the registration process began on March 4. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website of SSC for the registration process.
Vacancy Details: 4187 vacancies for Sub Inspector in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police- Male & Female have been released.
Sub-Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police-Male: 125 Posts
Sub-Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police-Female: 61 Posts
Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs: 4001 Posts
Total vacancies: 4187 Posts
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent. Those who have appeared in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply, provided they obtain the essential qualification on or before the cutoff date: August 1, 2024.
Age limit: The applicant must be in the age group of 20-25 years as on August 1, 2024, which means he/she must have been born not earlier than August 2, 1999 and not later than August 1, 2004. The upper age limit is relaxable in the case of reserved category candidates.
Salary:
Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs: Pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.
Sub-Inspector (Executive) – (Male/Female) in Delhi Police: Pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘C’ by Delhi Police.
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs 100 as the application fee. However, women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

How to Apply: Applications are required to be submitted in online mode only at the official website of SSC Headquarters, i.e., https://ssc.gov.in.
- Click on the apply link, provided below or visit the official website.
- Then click the Apply tab available on the home page and then click the Registration Part Section.
- After this, fill OTR (One Time Registration) Form.
- Ensure to enter personal, professional, and basic information in the form correctly and press the submit button.
- Then upload the scanned photo, signature as well as a certificate in the form.
- After registration is over, you will be provided with the registration ID as well as a password for your phone or email address.
- If you are already registered then there is no need for an OTR form. You can simply sign in and enter the registered address and password.
- After doing this, click on the apply button.
- Fill out the application form along with the attached scanned photo and sign.
- Make payment of the application form if eligible.
- Before form submission, check the details carefully and then submit the form.
- Take a printout of the application form for further reference.
