SSC Constable Recruitment 2024: The Staff Selection Commission will close the registration process for the recruitment to the 39481 vacancies of Constable (GD) posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau on October 14, 2024. Candidates who want to apply for the vacancies of Constable (GD) posts can apply through the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in or directly through the below-given link for SSC GD Constable Exam 2025.

The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an Open Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty). The registration process will close on Oct 14, 2024. The last date for making online fee payments is Oct 15, 2024. The correction window will open on November 5 and will end on November 7, 2024. The computer-based examination will likely be conducted in January-February 2025.

The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination and Document Verification. Eligibility Criteria of SSC Constable Recruitment 2024

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the 10th class or equivalent from a recognized board to apply for Constable (General Duty).

Application Fee of SSC Constable Exam

The application fee for General/ OBC candidates is Rs. 100/-. However, Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ ESM eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee. Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards.

How to Apply for SSC Constable Recruitment 2024

1. Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.
2. Then click the Registration tab and fill OTR (One Time Registration) Form.
3. Enter personal, professional, and basic information in the form and press the submit button.
4. Upload the scanned photo, signature as well as a certificate in the form.
5. After registration, you will be provided with the registration ID as well as a password on your phone or email address.
6. If you are already registered then there is no need for an OTR form. You can simply sign in and enter the registered address and password.
7. After doing this, click on the apply button.
8. Fill out the application form along with the attached scanned photo and sign.
9. Pay the application fee.
10. Before form submission, check the details carefully and then submit the form.
11. Take a printout of the submitted application form for further reference.
