On April 1, 2023, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the notification for the SSC CGL Exam 2023. Candidates interested in taking the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2023 can apply online through the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in.
The application process will be open until May 1, 2023, and the Tier I examination is scheduled to take place from July 14 to July 27, 2023.
The selection process consists of Tier I and Tier II examinations, with only candidates who pass the Tier I examination being eligible to take the Tier II examination. The detailed notification will provide the dates for the Tier II examination.
To apply for the examination, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or its equivalent. The application fee is Rs. 100/-, but women candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from paying the fee.
The SSC CGL Exam 2023 is being conducted to fill various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different Ministries/Departments/Organizations of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/Statutory Bodies/Tribunals, etc.
