SKUAST Jammu Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu has invited applications from the eligible candidates for engagement of Assistant Professors on academic arrangement basis in the Faculty of Dairy, SKUAST-J, Chatha.
The Walk-in-interview is scheduled to be held on 23rd July 2024 in the office of Director Education, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu.

Name of Post: Assistant Professor – 09 Posts
– Qualification: Master’s Degree in related discipline
– Salary: Consolidated wages will be Rs 35,000/per month for Masters’ and Rs 45,000 for Ph.D. candidates
1) Assistant Professor (Dairy Technology): Master’s degree in Dairy Technology/Livestock Products Technology/Dairy Science and Technology OR Master’s degree in Food Technology/ Food Science and Technology/Animal Husbandry and Dairying with specialization in Dairy Technology OR Ph.D. degree in concerned disciplines.
2) Assistant Professor (Dairy Engineering): Master’s in Dairy Engineering/Food Engineering/ Food Process Engineering OR Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Dairy Engineering OR Ph.D. degree in concerned disciplines.
3) Assistant Professor (Dairy Business Management): Master’s degree in Dairy Business Management/Dairy Economics OR Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics/Agri Business Management/Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education (with specialization in Dairy Economics/Dairy Business Management) OR Ph.D. degree in concerned disciplines.
4) Assistant Professor (Dairy Microbiology): Master’s degree in Dairy Microbiology. Master’s in Veterinary Microbiology with specialization in Dairy Microbiology OR Ph.D. degree in concerned disciplines.
5) Assistant Professor (Dairy Chemistry): Master’s in Dairy Chemistry OR Master’s in Veterinary or Animal sciences with specialization in Dairy Chemistry OR Ph.D. degree in concerned disciplines.
Application fee: Demand Draft of Rs 300/- drawn in favour of Dean, Faculty of Dairy Technology, payable at R.S. Pura.

The application form complete in all respect along with attested copies of the certificates and accompanied with Demand Draft of Rs 300/- drawn in favour of Dean, Faculty of Dairy Technology, payable at R.S. Pura should be deposited in the office at the time of interview. The Interview shall be conducted on 23-07-2024 at 2.00 PM in the office of Director Education, SKUAST-J Chatha 180009(J&K).
