SKUAST-Jammu announces registration for the seventh batch and invites applications from interested persons for joining two agri-business incubation programmes funded under RKVY-RAFTAAR project of MoA & FW, Gol.
The training program is sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Govt of India and is being organized by Agri Business Incubator, SKUAST-J.
Aspiring minds or entrepreneurs who have an innovative idea related to agriculture or its allied sectors and wish to develop a prototype can apply for two months Agripreneurship Orientation programme named UDGAM. The selected incubates will have a scope to receive a Grant-in-aid of up to Rs. 5 lakhs.
Start-ups having Minimum Viable Product (MVP) based on innovation in agriculture or its allied sectors and wish to commercialize their products can apply for two months Seed Stage Funding Programme named PRAGATI. The selected incubates will have a scope to receive a Grant-in-aid of up to Rs. 25 lakhs.
Note: Mere applying does not qualify any candidate for getting selected to the programme. The applications received will be evaluated/scrutinized by the RKVY incubation committee (RIC) whose decision shall be final in all matters related to selection.
The selected incubates will have to immediately register and the training
shall be conducted following the guidelines of the MoA & FW, Gol.
