Selection Process for SAIL Manager Recruitment 2024: The selection will be done through Computer Based Test (CBT) & Interviews.
i) Computer Based Test (CBT):
- Format: The CBT will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions divided into two segments:
- 50 questions on Domain / Professional Knowledge.
- 100 questions on the Aptitude Test.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must achieve a minimum of 50 percentile score for Unreserved posts and 40 percentile score for SCs/ST/OBC(NCL) posts.
- Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on merit, at a ratio of 1:3 for each post/discipline. If multiple candidates achieve the same cut-off marks, all of them will be called for the interview.
ii) Interview:
- Qualifying Marks: There is no specific qualifying mark for the interview if CBT is conducted.
- Final Selection: A merit list will be prepared by combining the marks of the CBT and Interview, with a weightage of 80:20 respectively.
- Tie-Breaker: In case of a tie in the cut-off marks, the candidate with higher marks in the eligibility qualification will be selected.
iii) Selection Criteria for Interview Only:
- Qualifying Marks: Minimum qualifying marks will be 50% for unreserved posts and 40% for posts reserved for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates.
