- Management Trainees (Technical)
Chemical Engineering: 3 posts
Civil Engineering: 3 posts
Electrical Engineering: 26 posts
Instrumentation Engineering: 7 posts
Mechanical Engineering: 34 posts
Metallurgy Engineering: 5 posts
Mining Engineering: 14 posts
Total Posts: 92 Posts
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering in relevant Engineering disciplines of Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Metallurgy, and Mining.
Age Limit: The upper age limit of the candidates varies from 31 years to 45 years.
Application Fee: Rs.700/- for OBC(NCL) Candidates and Rs. 200/- as processing fee for SC/ ST/ PWBD/ ESM/ Departmental Candidates.
Salary: Basic Pay of Rs. 50,000/- p.m. in the pay scale of Rs. 50000 – 1,60000/-. On successful completion of training of one year, the Management Trainees (Technical) will be designated as Assistant Manager in El grade and placed in the scale of pay of Rs. 60,000 – 1,80,000/-.

Selection Process:
The SAIL Management Trainee Recruitment 2023 selection process consists of the following stages:
- Online Examination
- Group Discussion
- Interview
The eligible candidates will be required to appear for an online examination- computer-based test to be held tentatively in January 2024, at any of the centers mentioned in the Detailed Notification. The online examination will be of 200 marks consisting of two parts- Domain Knowledge Test and Aptitude Test.
