Indian Railways is going to invite applications from eligible and interested candidates for 4660 posts of Constable and Sub-Inspector in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) of various Zones of Indian Railways. RPF Recruitment 2024 – Post Details:

These vacancies offer opportunities for eligible candidates to apply for either the Constable or Sub Inspector positions in the Railway Protection Force. RPF Constable and SI Recruitment 2024 has a total of 4660 vacancies distributed as follows:

  1. Constable — 4208 vacancies
    • Salary: Rs. 21,700/-
    • Qualification: 10th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board
    • Age Limit: 18 – 28 Years
  2. Sub-Inspector (SI) — 452 vacancies
    • Salary: Rs. 35,400/-
    • Qualification: Graduate from a recognized university
    • Age Limit: 20 – 28 Years

RPF – Application Fee —

Candidates must pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST, Ex-servicemen, Females, Minorities, and EBC) as Examination Fee.

RPF Sub-Inspector and Constable Recruitment 2024 – Selection Process:

The selection of candidates will be through a Computer Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification. 

Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Phase I —

• Online written exam (CBT).
• Covers General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence, and Reasoning.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – Phase II —

• Qualified candidates from CBT proceed to PET.
• Tasks include running, long jump, and high jump.
• Specific physical standards vary by post.

Document Verification —

• Successful candidates undergo thorough document verification.
• Submission of essential documents to confirm eligibility.

Medical Examination —

• Candidates passing document verification undergo a medical examination.
• Ensures compliance with required medical standards for the position.

Final Merit List —

• Compilation of a final merit list based on performance in CBT, PET, PMT, and document verification.
