The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is recruiting eligible candidates for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate and Undergraduate-level posts in the Jammu and Kashmir zone. Railway Recruitment Board Jammu Srinagar Recruitment 2024 Drive will fill up 292 posts out of which 147 vacancies for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Trains Clerk and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk posts and 145 Vacancies for Goods Trains Manager, Station Master, Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Clerk Cum Typist in the RRB Jammu-Srinagar.

As mentioned in the Railway Recruitment Board Jammu Srinagar Recruitment 2024 notification of RRB the age limit for the mentioned posts is between 18 to 36 years (age relaxation as per rules). Applicant should have a Graduation Degree for NTPC Graduate Level Posts and 12th pass for NTPC Undergraduate Level Posts. Candidates selected for NTPC positions will be paid a monthly salary between Rs. 19,900/- to Rs.35,400/-. The selection of applicants will be based on a CBT.

Eligibility Criteria of Railway Recruitment Board Jammu Srinagar Recruitment 2024

Additionally, for Junior Clerk cum Typist and Accounts Clerk cum Typist, candidates must demonstrate typing proficiency in Hindi or English on a computer.

Application Fee

The RRB NTPC application fee is Rs. 250 for SC, ST, ex-servicemen, female, PwBD, Transgender, Minorities and Economically Backward Class (EBC) category candidates. For all other candidates, the application fee is Rs. 500.

Candidates will be eligible for a partial refund of the application fee when they appear for the Computer Based Test (CBT).

Selection Process

The selection process for RRB undergraduate-level posts in Recruitment 2024 involves the following stages:-

• First Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-1)
• Second Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-2)
• Typing Skill Test (if applicable for certain posts)
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

The recruitment process shall involve 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Skill Test Test (as applicable) and Document Verification/Medical Examination. Selection is made strictly as per merit, on the basis of the above-mentioned recruitment stages. The date, time and venue for all the activities viz. CBTs, Typing Skill Test, Document Verification, Medical Examination or any other additional activity as applicable shall be fixed by the RRBs and shall be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
