PGCIL Engineers Recruitment 2024: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has invited online applications from eligible Engineering Graduates for the Recruitment of Engineer Trainees in Electrical/Civil/Electronics/Computer Science disciplines through GATE-2024.
Interested and eligible candidates have to apply online through the official website of POWERGRID i.e., www.powergrid.in. The application window for POWERGRID begins on 12 June 2024 and will close on 04 July 2024.
Besides vacancies of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), vacancies also exist for the post of ENGINEER TRAINEE in various disciplines in Central Transmission Utility of India Limited (CTUIL), which is presently a wholly owned subsidiary of POWERGRID.

1) Engineer Trainee (Electrical) – 331 Posts
– Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical/Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical).
2) Engineer Trainee (Civil) – 53 Posts
– Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Civil Engineering.
3) Engineer Trainee (Electronics) – 14 Posts
– Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Electronics / Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Electrical Communication / Telecommunication Engg.
4) Engineer Trainee (Computer Science)– 37 Posts
– Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Computer Science/ Computer Engg./ Information Technology.
Salary: Basic Pay is Rs. 40,000/-. On successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed as Engineer in E2 scale – Rs. 50,000/- 3%- 1,60,000/-
Application Fee: Applicants are advised to pay an Application fee of Rs. 500/-. SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/DEx-SM candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.

- Pay the application fee through the prescribed mode.
- Submit the filled online form.
