NIFT Recruitment 2024 for Group C Posts: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kolkata has invited applications for direct recruitment from Indian national in the prescribed proforma to fill up the following posts
This recruitment drive will fill up Group C positions on Direct Recruitment. The last date of receipt of application, complete in all respect, is 09th April, 2024, 05.30 PM.

Vacancy Details:
i) Machine Mechanic: 01 Post
Qualification: Check below Notice
ii) Assistant (Finance & Accounts): 01 Post
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Master’s Degree in Commerce
iii) Assistant Warden (Girls): 01 Post
Qualification: Graduate from a recognized University/Institution.
iv) Stenographer Grade III: 01 Post
Qualification: Graduate from a recognized University/ Institute. ii. Minimum speed of 80 wpm in shorthand and 40 wpm in typing.
v) Junior Assistant: 05 Posts
Qualification: 10+2 examination from a Board or its equivalent recognized by the Government with a typing speed of 30 w.p.m in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi.
vi) Library Assistant: 01 Post
Qualification: Graduate from a recognized University / Institution with diploma in Library Science
OR Bachelors’ Degree in Library Science.
vii) Lab Assistant: 05 Posts

Application fee: The application fee is Rs. 590. Candidates have to submit the application fee in Demand Draft. However, SC/ST/PWD/Female/ NIFT Employee (Regular or Contract) are exempted from fee.
Selection Mode: The Selection Process will include written test and Skill / Competency test. The selection of the candidates shall be purely on merit list.
How to Apply:
Applications, duly filled in the prescribed proforma, should be addressed to the Joint Director, National Institute of Fashion Technology, NIFT Campus, Block-LA, Plot-3B, Sector-III, Salt Lake City, Kolkata-700106 and shall be submitted in a sealed envelope superscribed with “Application for the post of __”.
Self Attested copies of relevant documents, certificates and testimonials as proof of Age/Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Caste, Experience, etc. should be attached with the application form
