NIFT Group C Posts Recruitment 2024: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Patna Campus has invited applications for the following Group-C posts.
This recruitment drive will fill up 30 vacancies of Administrative / Technical positions. The last date of receipt of the application is Monday, 27 March 2024, 5.30 pm.
Vacancy Details:
- Assistant (Admin): 03 Posts
- Qualification: Graduate
- Machine Mechanic: 02 Posts
- Qualification: 10th or above with three year diploma in Mechanical engineering/Mechatronics Engineering/Instrumentation Technology. Or two years Diploma after 10th in Machinist /Mechanic Machine Tools Maintenance /Technician Mechatronics /Textile Mechatronics(NSQF level 5). Or two years Diploma after 12th in instrument Mechanic/Mechanic Industrial Electronics (NSQF level 5). Or Full time six months NCVT certificate in industrial Sewing Machine technician (NSQF Level 3).
- Assistant (Finance & Accounts): 01 Post
- Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Commerce
- Assistant Warden: 01 Post
- Qualification: Graduate
- Stenographer Grade – III: 01 Post
- Qualification: Graduate
- Nurse: 01 Post
- Qualification: B. Sc (Hons.) in Nursing Or Diploma in General Nursing and midwifery.
- Junior Assistant: 11 Posts
- Qualification: Passed 10+2 examination and have a typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi.
- Lab Assistant: 09 Posts
- Qualification: One year or two year Diploma/certificate after 10th (NSQF level 4 or 5) or from any Govt. recognised institute/ITI in Apparel Manufacturing Technology, sewing technology, Fashion Design and Technology. Further details can be read from below given official notification.
- Library Assistant: 01 Posts
- Qualification: Graduate with diploma in Library Science OR Bachelors’ Degree in Library Science.
Application fee: The applictaion fee is Rs. 590. Candidates have to submit the application fee in Demand Draft.
Selection Mode: The Selection Process will include written test and Skill / Competency test. The selection of the candidates shall be purely on merit list.

Applications in the prescribed format should be addressed to The Director, National Institute of Fashion Technology, NIFT Campus, Mithapur Farms, Patna – 800001, Bihar and be superscripted as “Application for the post of _____________” on the envelope.
Self-attested copies of certificates and testimonials in proof of age/educational qualifications/caste/experience etc. should be attached to the application form. The Demand draft is drawn in favour of “NIFT” payable at “Patna” and should also be attached with the application form.
