NHAI Recruitment 2024: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has invited online applications to fill up the positions of Principal DPR Expert, Domain Experts –Senior Highway Expert, Road Safety Expert, Traffic Expert, Environment / Forest Specialist, Land Acquisition Expert, Geotechnical Expert, Bridge Expert, Tunnel Expert on contract basis to work in DPR Cell of NHAI.
Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply online through the NHAI website www.nhai.gov.in. The last date for the submission of online applications is July 18, 2024. Required educational qualifications and other details, are given below in brief —

Last date for submission of Online application: 18-07-2024.
1) Principal DPR Expert
– Eligibility: Level 13/14 or equivalent officers (Govt.). Experienced officials from MoRTH /NHAI/ PWD. OR Director/ Head of DPR Preparation & implementation function (Private) with 15 years’ overall
experience in project implementation of National Highways. Experience in preparation of DPRs.
2) Senior Highway Expert
– Qualification: Post-Graduation in Construction Management/ Highway Engineering.
3) Road Safety Expert
– Qualification: Post-Graduation in Transportation Engineering.
4) Traffic Expert
– Qualification: Post-graduation in Traffic Engineering/Transportation Engineering/Transportation Planning.
5) Environment / Forest Specialist
– Qualification: Post-Graduation in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Sciences.
6) Land Acquisition Expert
– Qualification: Graduation (any). Post-Graduation in Law (preferably).
7) Geotechnical Expert
– Qualification: Masters in Foundation Engineering / Soil Mechanics / PhD in Geology /Geo-Tech Engineering.
8) Bridge Expert
– Qualification: Post-Graduation in Structural Engineering/Bridge Engineering.
9) Tunnel Expert
– Qualification: Post-Graduation in Structural Engineering
How to Apply: Applications are to be submitted online only. The procedure to be followed for filling up the online application is given:
- Visit the NHAI official website i.e., http://www.nhai.gov.in.
- Go to the “Vacancies” option available on the homepage.
- Now click on the Online application link “Apply Now” against the relevant Recruitment advertisement.
- Register and once you entered all the details, login with the User ID and password.
- fill in the required details and upload the necessary documents.
- Submit the form and take a print of final submitted application form for future use.
