Eligibility Criteria of National Science Centre NSCD Recruitment 2024

Educational Qualification
As mentioned in the official notification of NSCD Recruitment 2024 the qualifications required for Office Assistant is given below:-
10+2 or equivalent. The Candidates must qualify in a typing test of 10 minutes duration with at least 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer corresponding to 10500/9000 Key Depression Per Hour (KDPH) respectively, duly supported by a typing certificate from a Government recognised institution.
Age Limit
Before applying candidates must fulfil the age requirement criteria as mentioned in the notification. The maximum age limit is 25 years as on 24/09/2024. The upper age limit is relaxable as per the Government of India Rule.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs. 885/- in the form of a Demand Draft from a Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of “National Science Centre” payable at New Delhi and the same shall be attached with the original application. However, Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes, Persons with Disability and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the application fee.
Selection Process
The selection process involves the following two stages:
Stage 1: Written Test: The Written Test shall comprise 20 marks for descriptive and 80 Marks for objective-type questions and there is no negative marking.
Stage 2: Typing Test: Candidates who pass the written test shall be called for a Typing Test (to be conducted on a Computer) which will be a qualifying test.
