JKBOPEE BTech Admission 2024: Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has invited Online Applications from the eligible/desirous candidates who intend to appear in the CET (Engineering) Entrance Test for admission to B.E/B.Tech Courses for the academic session 2024 in Government / Private Colleges / Institutions of UT of J&K.
Important Dates:
Start date for filling out the online application forms: 05th May 2024
Last date for filling out the online application forms: 19th May 2024
Date of Common Entrance Test: to be announced later
Eligibility: A candidate must:
1) be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh
2) be at least 17 years old on 31st December 2024
3) have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects having 45% marks as prescribed by the AICTE taken together for Open Merit Category candidates, including the Children of Defence Personnel, Children of Para-Military Forces, Children of Police Personnel, Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) of UT of J&K/Ladakh and candidates possessing outstanding proficiency in Sports and 40% marks for the reserved category candidates belonging to SC/ST/RBA/ALC/I B/OBC;
The candidates appearing/appeared in the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply and appear in the Entrance Test but they have to upload/submit the qualifying examination certificate within the prescribed date to be notified separately.
Application Fee: The application fee is Rs. 1000/ to be paid online through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.

The CET (Engineering) entrance test is based on the courses of study and syllabi of 12th class. The syllabus for the Common Entrance Test is available in the e-information brochure of B.E./B.Tech. Engg. Courses— 2024 given below;

CET shall consist of Single Paper with three sections comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 180 questions (60 questions from each section) with time duration of 03.00 hours. The questions shall be multiple choice objective types with one mark each. There will be 0.25 negative marks for each
wrong answer.
The entrance test is based on the courses of study and syllabi of the 12th class. It is given below the weightage of each subject in the question paper of the Entrance Test.
