IOCL Recruitment 2024: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has released an official notification inviting applications for Trade, Technician, and Graduate Apprentices across its Southern Region locations in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. There are 400 vacant posts available for the above-stated positions.
As mentioned in the official notification released by IOCL the selection will be based on a Written Test. The age limit mentioned is a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 24 years as of 31.07.2024.

Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Recruitment 2024
Applications are invited from candidates meeting the following qualifications & other parameters for engagement of Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973/ 1992:-
Education: Applicants must have completed relevant educational qualifications such as ITI, Diploma, or Degree depending on the specific apprenticeship role.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as of 31.07.2024.
Age Relaxation:
5 years for SC/ST (up to 29 years),
3 years for OBC-NCL (up to 27 years), and
up to 10 years for PwBD categories (up to 15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC-NCL).
Selection Process
The selection process for IOCL apprentices includes a written test. The written test will assess candidates’ knowledge and aptitude relevant to the trade or technical field they are applying for. The candidates will have to qualify successfully through each stage of the selection process i.e.Online Test (Minimum 40%, relaxable by 5% for candidates from SC/ST/PwBD categories against reserved positions), document verification, and Pre-engagement medical fitness for being adjudged suitable for engagement.
How to Apply for IOCL SR Apprentice 2024
Candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria may apply online from 02nd August 2024 (10:00 A.M.) to 19th August 2024 (11.55 P.M.) through the link which will be provided in our corporate website https://www.iocl.com/apprenticeships. Only Online mode of Applications will be accepted.
After filling up the online application, the scanned copy of the latest colour photograph, scanned copy of the documents namely proof of Date of Birth (Xth Std certificate/mark sheet), prescribed educational qualification, caste certificate as applicable and signature to be uploaded without fail. In the absence of any single document, the application shall be summarily rejected.
Candidates have to apply for ANY ONE DISCIPLINE CODE ONLY. Candidates applying for more than one discipline Code will not be considered and their applications will be summarily rejected.
