Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Notification; Apply for Technical Entry Scheme (TES-53)

Indian Army Recruitment 2024: The Indian Army has released the official notification inviting applications from interested and eligible unmarried male candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects for Technical Entry Scheme (TES-53).

As mentioned in the official notification of the Indian Army the age limit for the mentioned posts is between 16½ years and 19½ years old (age relaxation as per rules). Candidates selected for said positions will be paid a salary between 17-18 Lac per annum. The selection of applicants will be based on a SSB Interview.

Eligibility Criteria of Indian Army Recruitment 2024

Below we have summarized the required eligibility criteria such as qualification required, age limit, experience, etc. Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for any post mentioned in the notification.

1. Nationality: Candidates must be unmarried males and citizens of India or eligible subjects from specified countries.

2. Age Limit: Candidates must be between 16½ years and 19½ years old, meaning they should be born between January 2, 2006, and January 1, 2009 (inclusive).

3. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in PCM from recognized boards. Candidates must have appeared in the JEE (Mains) 2024 examination.

Selection Process

The selection procedure includes: Application > Shortlisting > SSB > Medical > Merit List > Joining Letter.

• Shortlisting of Applications: Based on the cut-off marks, candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage.
• SSB Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will undergo the SSB interview at designated centres, followed by a medical examination.
• Final Selection: Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will receive joining letters based on merit.

How to Apply for Indian Army Recruitment 2024

Applications will only be accepted online. To do so the candidate needs to click on the ‘online application’ button on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. After successfully submitting the form, the candidate should take a printout of the application with a Roll number that will be available to the candidate 30 minutes after the closing of online applications.

Candidates are required to print two copies of the application with the Roll Number generated by the system. One copy of the print-out application duly self-attested by the candidate will be carried to the selection center for the SSB interview.

The following documents will also be carried along with the Application Form:-
(i) Class 10th certificate and mark sheet in original showing DOB.
(ii) Class 12th certificate and mark sheet in original.
(iii) ID proof in original.
(iv) Copy of result of JEE (Mains) 2024
