Indian Army Recruitment 2024: Indian Army invites online applications for NCC Special Entry Scheme 56th Course -Oct 2024 Short Service Commission NCC for Men and Women. The Indian Army is inviting applications from unmarried men and women, including the children of Indian Army personnel who were casualties in battle. They are offering a Short Service Commission, which means a temporary service period in the Army.

Indian Army 56 NCC Special Entry Scheme Vacancy Details

This recruitment drive aims to fill 55 vacancies.

  • NCC Men: 50 posts
  • NCC Women: 5 posts

Age Limit

If you’re interested in joining the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and you’re the child of someone who was a casualty in battle, you should be between 19 and 25 years old as of July 1, 2024. Your birthdate should fall between July 2, 1999, and July 1, 2005.

Educational Qualification

For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders:-

(a) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks considering marks of all the years. Candidates studying in the final year are also eligible to apply provided they have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the first two/ three years of three/ four years degree courses respectively.
(b) Should have served for a minimum of 03 academic years in the senior Division/ Wing of NCC.
(c) Should have obtained a minimum of a ‘B’ Grade in the ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.

For Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel:-

(a) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks considering marks of all the years.
(b) Should be warded (unmarried sons and unmarried daughters including legally adopted) of Battle casualties specified as:- Killed in action/ Died of wound or injuries (Other than self-inflicted)/ Wounded or Injured (Other than self-inflicted)/ Missing.
(c) NCC ‘C’ certificate not required for Wards of Battle Casualties.

  • Click on ‘Officer Entry Application/Login’ and then click ‘Registration.
  • Fill out the online registration form after reading the instructions carefully.
  • After getting registered, click on ‘Apply Online’ under Dashboard.
  • Then click ‘Apply’ shown against the Short Service Commission NCC Special Entry Course.
