Indian Army Dental Corps Recruitment 2024: The Indian Army Dental Corps has invited online applications in a prescribed format from Indian Nationals (Male and female) for a grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Army Dental Corps. Vacancy Details: Applications are invited from Indian citizens both male and female, who have passed
their final BDS examination & completed a compulsory rotatory internship, for a grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Army Dental Corps. Candidates with Post-Graduate degree qualifications (MDS) can also apply. Join Army Dental Corps is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following vacancies for the positions given below:
Name of Post: Army Dental Corps – 30 Posts
– Qualification: Candidates must be BDS/MDS (with a minimum of 55% marks in final year BDS) from a College/University recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
– Age Limit: The age limit is 45 years as on 31st December 2024.
– Salary: Civilian Dental surgeons on commission in AD Corps will be granted the rank of Captain in the pay scale, Level 10 B (Rs 61,300-1,20,900) of Defence Pay Matrix as elaborated in Army Pay Rules-2017 (7th Pay Commission).
Note: Only those candidates (BDS/MDS) who have appeared in the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test, NEET (MDS)-2024 conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi, under the aegis of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, GoI, on 18 Mar 2024, are eligible to apply. Candidates must submit a copy of the mark sheet/Score card of NEET (MDS)-2024 along with the application.

Selection Process: The Indian Army Army Dental Corps 2024 selection will be done in two parts.
1) Interview
2) Medical Test
The final merit list for the Grant of SSC in the Army Dental Corps will be based on the performance in the interview alone. The candidates who qualify in the interview will be subjected to Medical Examination.
Candidates will be shortlisted for an interview round based on the marks scored in the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test, NEET (MDS)-2024 conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi, under the aegis of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
