GMC Jammu announces Vacancies of Sr. Residents/Tutors in various disciplines
Govt. Medical College and its Associated Hospitals, Jammu has invited applications in the prescribed format from the eligible candidates (possessing requisite qualification as per latest Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, notified by National Medical Commission in the concerned discipline or having appeared in the final examination of the Postgraduate course) for the Written Examination (MCQ) for the engagement of tenured posts of Senior Residents and Tutors in the following disciplines of Govt. Medical College, Jammu.
The Application Form for filling up the Application Forms is available at the website of the College from 13/03/2025. The Last date for submitting of application complete in all respects along with the requisite fee (through email pmc-gmcjammu@jk.gov.in) as well as receipt of hard copy is 12/04/2025.

Eligibility Criteria: The requisite Qualification for applying for the above said tenured posts:
St. Resident: Possessing Medical Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB/MCh/DM)
Tutor: Possessing Post Graduate Degroc (MD)
Age Limit: Age as on Ist January, 2025 must be below 45 years
The syllabus for the MCQ-based written Examination will will align with the National Medical Commission (NMC) Regulations and the University of Jammu guidelines in the relevant discipline.

How to Apply: A complete PDF containing the application form, qualification documents and proof of fee payment should be emailed to the IT cell of GMC Jammu at pmc-gmcjammu@jk.gov.in and Non-PSC candidate shall also deposit the copy of the Application Form in all respect in the office of the Principal, GMC Jammu on or before deadline

Selection Process: The selection for the tenured position of Sr. Residents/Tutors in Govt. Medical College, Jammu shall be made on basis of performance in Multiple Choice Questions/MCO) based written Test only. The question paper we be of one hour duration having 50 questions (MCQ based) of 100 marks (2 marks each). There will be a negative marking of 0.25 per question.
