G.B. Pant NIHE Recruitment 2024: G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment has invited applications from Indian citizens for the positions of Junior Research Fellow and Junior Project Fellow at Ladakh Regional Centre, Leh of the Institute.

Online/Walk-in-Interview is scheduled to be conducted on the 19th of January 2024 (10:30 A.M onwards). Qualified/Screened candidates will be called for the interview through an online mode after verification of the documents.

Vacancy Details:

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF-01)
Salary: Rs. 20,000 / Rs. 31,000 +HRA
Qualification: Masters in Environmental Sciences/ RS-GIS / Geography /Physics / Geoinformatics / Geology/Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology from a recognized University. OR M.Tech in Water Resource Management/ Environmental Engineering/Hydrology/Computer Science/ Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology
Age Limit: 28 years

2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF-01)
Salary: Rs. 20,000 / Rs. 31,000 +HRA
Qualification: Master’s in Environmental Sciences/ Social Science / Geography /Physics / Geology/ Economics from a recognized University. OR B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering /Computer Science OR B.Arch.
Age Limit: 28 years

1. Junior Project Fellow (JPF)
Salary: Rs. 20,000 +HRA
Qualification: Masters in Earth Sciences/ RS-GIS / Geography /Geology/Water Management from a recognized University.
Age Limit: 28 years
