The Director, JIPMER, invites eligible applicants for a Walk-In interview to fill the post of Assistant Professor on CONTRACT BASIS for the following Departments at JIPMER, Puducherry scheduled to be held on Dt. 16.02.2024 & 17.02.2024.

1. Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery — 01 Posts
   • Qualification: M.Ch in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
   • Salary: Rs. 1,42,506/-
   • Age Limit: 50 years
     
2. Forensic Medicine & Toxicology — 02 Posts
   • Qualification: A postgraduate qualification i.e., M.D. in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
   • Salary: Rs. 1,42,506/-
   • Age Limit: 50 Years
     
3. Microbiology — 02 Posts
   • Qualification: A postgraduate qualification i.e., M.D. in Microbiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
   • Salary: Rs. 1,42,506/-
   • Age Limit: 50 Years
     
4. Nephrology — 02 Posts
   • Qualification: D.M. in Nephrology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
   • Salary: Rs. 1,42,506/-
   • Age Limit: 50 Years
     
5. Obstetrics & Gynecology — 01 Posts
   • Qualification: A postgraduate qualification i.e., M.D./M.S. in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
   • Salary: Rs. 1,42,506/-
   • Age Limit: 50 Years
     
6. Pediatrics — 01 Posts
   • Qualification: A Postgraduate qualification i.e., M.D. in Paediatrics or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
   • Salary: Rs. 1,42,506/-
   • Age Limit: 50 Years
     
7. Urology — 02 Posts
   • Qualification: M.Ch in Urology (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
   • Salary: Rs. 1,42,506/-
   • Age Limit: 50 Years

Application Fees: Candidates applying for the advertised positions need to pay an Application & Processing Fee. The last date for payment of the application fee through SBI Collect is 15.02.2024 till 4.30 PM.

Walk-in-Interview: Applicants fulfilling the eligibility criteria shall report for Walk-in-Interview as per the schedule given below with his/her duly filled-in application in the prescribed proforma (as listed in annexure) available on the JIPMER website appending therewith self-attested certificates and all other relevant documents for verification on the day of the interview.
