DRDO Recruitment 2024: Defence Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR) is a frontier institute of the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) that endeavors to provide nutrition, health and energy security for the troops through the development of cold arid agro-animal technologies in the Trans Himalayan region. DIHAR has its HQ at Leh, UT (Ladakh) and its Base Station at UT Chandigarh.
DRDO DHIR has invited applications from candidates to work in defence related research projects of DIHAR for the following posts:
Vacancy Details:
i) Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 13 posts
Qualification: M.Sc/ M.V.Sc with NET qualification OR M.Tech.
Age Limit: Upper Age Limit is 28 years. Relaxable for SC, ST & OBC candidates as per GoI orders.
Stipend: 37,000/-, + HRA per month
ii) Research Associate: 01 Post
Qualification: Ph.D. in Agriculture Extension.
Age Limit: Upper Age Limit is 35 years. Relaxable for SC, ST & OBC candidates as per GoI orders.
Stipend: Rs. 67,000/- + HRA per month
How to Apply:
Desirable candidates shall report by 1000 hours on 22 April 202 for walk-in interview at DIHAR Base Lab, Near 3 BRD, Industrial Area Phase-II, Chandigarh – 160002.
Candidates shall bring the following:-
i) Certificates wrt DOB and Essential qualification in original along with a self-attested copy of each.
ii) Neatly typed Bio-data.
iii) Documents in support of preferential experience wrt RA Post if applicable.
