DRDO Recruitment 2024: Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) is a corporate body of DRDO under Min. of Defence which is engaged in a wide range of selection activities related to the recruitment, assessment and training of scientists of DRDO on a regular basis. It also extends similar selection services to the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and other allied agencies.
RAC is looking for a qualified candidate with an established and proven track record for appointment to the post of Chairperson RAC (Level 17 of Pay Matrix in the 7th CPC that corresponds to apex scale of Rs. 80,000/- of 6th CPC).

Name of Post: Chairperson
– Pay Level: Level 17 of Pay Matrix in the 7th CPC
– Eligibility: Retired Scientists or Technologists or Academicians or Civil Servants retired at the level of Secretary to the Govt. of India by re-employment on contract, or eminent serving scientists or officers serving at the level of Secretary to the Govt. of India are eligible to apply.

Selection Process:
The Chairperson will be selected through a high-level Search-cum-Selection Committee appointed by the Government of India for the purpose, in accordance with extant DOP&T instructions, with the approval of the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC).
