Damodar Valley Corporation Recruitment 2024: Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has invited Online applications from bright, result-oriented and promising Diploma Engineers to join its journey of growth as Junior Engineer GR.II (JE GR.II) in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil /C&I/Communication disciplines and Mine Surveyor through Computer Based Test.
As per the official Notification of Damodar Valley Corporation Recruitment 2024, this recruitment drive will fill up 64 Vacancies for Junior Engineers and Mine Surveyor posts. Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply online through the DVC website www.dvc.gov.in.

Vacancy Details: DVC (Damodar Valley Corporation) is hiring following positions:
Junior Engineer (Mechanical): 16 Posts
– Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Junior Engineer (Electrical): 20 Posts
– Qualification: Diploma in Engineering/ Technology in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Junior Engineer (Civil): 20 Posts
– Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Junior Engineer (C&I): 02 Posts
– Qualification: Diploma in Engineering/ Technology in Electronics & Telecommunications/ Instrumentation Engineering.
Junior Engineer (Communication): 02 Posts
– Qualification: Diploma in Engineering/ Technology in Electronics & Telecommunications/ Telecommunication Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering.
Mine Surveyor: 04 Posts
– Qualification: Matriculation and Surveyor’s certificate of competency issued by DGMS. Or Diploma in Mining/Mining Surveying/Mining & Mine Surveying.

Age Limit:
Junior Engineers GR-II: The minimum age of the applicant should not be less than 18 years & maximum not more than 28 years of age for Junior Engineers,
Mine Surveyor: The minimum age of the applicant should not be less than 18 years & Maximum not more than 30 years of age for Mine Surveyors.
Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD/Ex-SM candidates will be as per GOI guidelines.
Pay Scale: Rs 35,400/- to 1,12,400/- in Pay Matrix Level 6 (at B4 level in DVC) during the one-year probation period. On successful completion of the probation period, the candidates will be absorbed on the same aforementioned scale and pay matrix. The compensation package includes Basic Pay, Central Dearness Allowance (CDA), Medical Reimbursement, Leave Travel Allowance, NPS, Conveyance Allowance, Leave Encashment and HRA, etc. admissible as per Corporation Rules in force from time to time.
Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to General/OBC(NCL)/EWS categories are required to pay an application Fee of Rs 300/-. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM categories & DVC Departmental Candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
Salary: The Selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Scale of Rs 56,100-1,77,500/- in Pay Matrix Level 10 (as per 7th Pay Revision) during the one-year probation period. On successful completion of the probation period, the candidates will be absorbed as Assistant Managers on the same scale. The compensation package includes Basic Pay, Central Dearness Allowance (CDA), Medical Reimbursement, Leave Travel Allowance, NPS, Conveyance Allowance, Leave Encashment and HRA, Annual Incentive Scheme (AIS) etc. admissible as per Corporation Rules in force from time to time.

Selection Process:
Eligible candidates will have to undergo a Computer Based Test. Based on the Merit and vacancy requirements, the list of successful candidates for document verification will be made available at www.dvc.gov.in.
