CRPF Recruitment 2024: The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a press release announcing the recruitment of 129929 vacancies for Constables (General Duty) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). These Level 3 Constable positions will be filled through direct recruitment in the General Duty Cadre. The press release specifies that out of the total vacancies, 125,262 posts are reserved for male candidates and 4,467 posts are for female candidates. Additionally, 10% of the vacancies will be reserved for Ex-Agniveers.

Applicants for CRPF Constable Recruitment 2024 must be between 18 and 23 years of age. The salary for General Duty Constable posts in the CRPF will range from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100/-.

CRPF Constable Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

The required eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification, age limit etc have been listed below as per Recruitment Notification.

Application Fee

As mentioned in the official notification released by CRPF the application fee for the general category is Rs. 100/-. Applicants belonging to SC/ST/ ESM/ Female are exempted from fees.

CRPF Constable Salary

Selected candidates will be posted as Constable in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on the Pay Scale of Rs. 21,700 – 69,100/- This is only the basic CISF Salary that doesn’t include the range of benefits and allowances to which the post of Constable/Fireman is entitled. The probation period for constable posts is for 2 years.

Selection Process

To be selected for the Constable (General Duty) posts in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), candidates must pass the following stages:

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates need to meet the physical standards set by the Central Government as per the prescribed scheme. This test assesses the physical fitness and capabilities of the candidates.
• Medical Examination: Candidates must undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the required medical standards for the Constable (General Duty) position. This examination evaluates the overall health and fitness of the candidates.
• Written Examination: Candidates who qualify the Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Examination will be eligible to appear for the written examination. The written test assesses the candidates’ knowledge, aptitude, and skills relevant to the position.
