Application Fees
The application fee for the DSSSB recruitment is ₹100.
However, women candidates and individuals belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), and Ex-serviceman categories are exempt from paying the application fee.
The fee can be paid online through SBI e-pay during the application process. It’s important to note that once the application fee is paid, it is non-refundable under any circumstances.

To apply for DSSSB recruitment, candidates must first register on the portal https://dsssbonline.nic.in. This one-time registration generates a unique ID and password for future use. The application period is from January 18 to February 8, 2024, through the same portal.

Selection Process
The selection process for the DSSSB recruitment involves a Computer-Based Examination, with scores normalized if needed. Invalid questions will not be considered, and candidates can raise objections during the display of Draft Answer Keys. Minimum qualifying marks are set, and tie-breaking criteria consider age and alphabetical order.
Final selection depends on performance in the Tier-II Examination, Interview, candidate preferences, and eligibility. Once allocated a preference, candidates cannot change it. Vacancies are filled based on overall merit.
