DRDO Recruitment 2023: DRDO Young Scientists’ Laboratory for Smart Materials (DYSL-SM) is dedicated to the development of smart material technology solutions for national defence. The laboratory specialises in accelerated materials development, micro-robotics and stealth technologies.
Indian Nationals are invited for an interview on 24.01.2024 @ 09:30 hrs for the position of One (01) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a project in the area of Development of Smart Materials based robotic applications including shape memory alloy and piezoelectric Materials.

Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should have a B.E. or B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with First Class with a valid GATE score
(OR) - Candidates should have an M.E./M.Tech. with first class in Mechatronics, Robotics & Automation/ Machine Design/ Solid Mechanics and a B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with first class.
Age Limit: The maximum age restriction for JRF is 28 years old. The age limit shall be relaxed as per government rules, or by 5 years for SC/ST applicants and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Tenure: The nature of the appointment is temporary for a period of 02 years. Subsequent upgradation to SRF grade is as per DRDO guidelines.
Salary: Candidates who are selected for the above-mentioned post will get a monthly salary of Rs. 37,000/- for JRF with applicable H.R.A. and other emoluments as per DRDO rules.
