Educational Qualification:
- Flying Branch: Graduation in any discipline Or BE/B Tech degree Or AMIE.
- Ground Duty (Technical) Branch:
- Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics): Graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/ Technology in a related area/ AMIE.
- Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical): Graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/ Technology in a related area/ AMIE.
- Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches:
- Weapon Systems (WS) Branch: Graduation in any discipline.
- Administration & Logistics. Passed 10+2 and Graduate Degree.
- Accounts Branch: B. Com Degree/Bachelor of Business Administration/ Bachelor of Management Studies/ Bachelor of Business Studies/ Qualified CA/ CMA/ CS/ CFA.
- Meteorology. B Sc with Physics and Mathematics or equivalent or Graduation in Engineering/Technology in related disciplines.

Age Limit: The age limit is 20 to 26 years as on 01 January 2025 i.e. born between 02 January 1999 to 01 January 2005 (both dates inclusive).
Application Fee: Candidates registering for AFCAT entry will have to pay an amount of Rs. 550/- as an examination fee. However, candidates registering for NCC Special entry are not required to pay.
Salary: Flying Officer: Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500/-.
In addition to pay, allowances are applicable based on the nature of duty/ place of posting and it includes Flying, Transport, Technical, Field Area, Special Compensatory (Hill area), Special Force, Siachen, Island Special Duty, Test Pilot & Flight Test Engineer, Area and Remote Locality Allowance, etc.

The standard of Numerical Ability Questions will be of Matriculation level. The standard of questions in other subjects will be of graduation level (Indian University).
