SKUAST Jammu Recruitment 2025 – Research Assistant (Agronomy)

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu has released the official notification inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for a vacancy of Research Assistant (Agronomy) under the AICRP-IFS project. There is 1 vacancy available for the mentioned post.

As mentioned in the official notification, the selected candidate will receive a monthly emolument of Rs.31,000 plus 20% HRA for the first and second years and Rs.35,000 plus 20% HRA for the third year. The appointment is temporary and contractual, co-terminus with the project, with no claim for regularization. The upper age limit is 35 years, relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST, Women, Physically Handicapped, and OBC candidates.

Pay Scale / Salary

Candidates selected for the Research Assistant post will receive a fixed monthly emolument as specified in the vacancy details. In addition, benefits such as medical insurance and other perks will be provided as per the institute’s policy. The remuneration is determined according to the guidelines of ICAR norms.
