IUST invites applications for Internship Programme: Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) has invited applications for a Summer Internship position as part of the SSR Scheme of the DST-SERB project titled “Circular economy approach to recover pectin, cellulose, and starch-like industrially important polymeric compounds for early drop-wasted apples” at the Department of Food Technology, IUST Awantipora.
Eligibility:
Candidates must possess an M.Sc./M.Tech./B.Tech. degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Process Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related discipline. Candidates in the final year of their M.Tech./M.Sc. in the aforementioned disciplines or allied subjects are also encouraged to apply.
Stipend:
A stipend of Rs. 5000 per month will be provided for a duration of two months only.
How to Apply:
Eligible and interested candidates who meet the above requirements should submit their application via email to the Principal Investigator (PI) at hilal.makroo@iust.ac.in. The application should include an updated CV and a one-page research proposal. The subject line of the email should be marked as “SSR-SERB 2023”.
The deadline for submitting applications is July 15th, 2023.
Selection Criteria:
Candidates will be selected based on their academic profile and research proposal. The selected candidates will receive a notification of their selection via email.
