Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, the Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, announced on Friday that a decision regarding summer vacation in schools and colleges would be made after Sunday. Bidhuri stated that the government was actively monitoring the weather conditions and would soon reach a conclusion on whether to declare summer vacation.
In a statement to reporters, Bidhuri mentioned, “If we determine that the weather conditions are unfavorable after Sunday, we will engage in discussions and subsequently decide on the summer vacation for schools in the Kashmir division.”
When asked about the progress of work in Lal Chowk, Bidhuri responded, “Although our initial deadline was June 30, you will witness a transformed Lal Chowk by July 15.”
