Online applications for Ph.D. programmes in 34 different disciplines for the academic year 2023 are now open at the University of Kashmir.
Interested candidates can access the application form on the university’s website starting from April 27, 2023, with the deadline to submit the form being 17-05-2023.

To be eligible for admission, candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade “B” in the UGC 7-point scale or grade in a point-to-point marking system, excluding relaxation of marks, if any. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PWDs and other categories approved by the university are granted a relaxation of 5% marks or equivalent relaxation of grade.
Candidates who have completed an M.Phil degree with a grade ‘A’ or ‘B’ from the University of Kashmir or any other recognized university are also eligible for admission to the Ph.D. programme. M.Phil pass-out candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PWDs and other categories approved by the university are granted a relaxation of 5% marks from 55% to 50% or equivalent relaxation of grade.
