Age Limit

Application Fee
The application fee for General/ OBC/ EWS category candidates is Rs. 1,180/-. However, SC/ ST/ ESM/ PwD/ Employees of CIL and its subsidiaries are exempted from the application fee.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates for the CIL Management Trainee post will be based on the following stages –
- Shortlisting based on GATE score
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination.
Eligible candidates must have appeared and qualified for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE -2024). Based on the GATE-2024 Scores/Marks and requirements, candidates will be shortlisted discipline-wise and category-wise, in the ratio of 1:3 in order of merit for the further selection process. The final merit list will be prepared for each discipline on the basis of GATE 2024 Scores/Marks.
