AWES Recruitment 2024: The Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) has Extended the application process for the recruitment of Primary Teachers (PRT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in Army Public Schools (APS) located in various Cantonments and Military Stations across India till Mid Night of 27 Oct 2024. AWES is going to conduct the Online Screening Test (OST) 2024 for the recruitment to the posts of PGT, TGT and PRT Teachers in Army Public Schools.
Eligible candidates can apply online for Army Public School Recruitment 2024 from the website awesindia.com. The last Date for Submission of Applications for OST has been Extended till Mid Night of 27 Oct 2024. Candidates selected for Teaching positions will be paid a monthly pay scale of Rs. 9300/—to Rs. 34800/—with an additional Grade Pay of up to Rs. 4800. The selection of applicants will be based on an Online Screening Test (OST).

Application Fee
To complete the AWES Army Public School Application Form 2024 applicants have to pay an application fee. Interested candidates applying for PGT, TGT, and PRT posts are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 385/-.
Selection Process of AWES Recruitment 2024
The selection of the candidates for Postgraduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and Primary Teacher (PRT) posts will be based on the following stage.
- Online Screening Test (OST): The AWES Online Screening Test (OST) will be held online and consist of multiple-choice questions. Candidates must pass OST to be selected for the teacher post (regular and fixed term). The OST scorecard is valid for a lifetime.
(i) Regular candidate; Within two years of being appointed with a minimum overall raw score of 50% ( 100 marks).
(ii) Fixed Term candidate; Within one year of being appointed with a minimum overall raw score of 40 % ( 80 marks). - Interview: The shortlisted candidates in the OST exam will be called for an interview depending on the number of vacancies available and the location of employment. Candidates who apply for the Regular Post are interviewed by a ‘Central Selection Board’ (CSB). Candidates who apply for the post of a teacher under ‘Fixed Term’ employment are interviewed by a ‘Local Selection Board’ (LSB).
- Evaluation of Teaching Skills and Computer Proficiency: For Language teachers, a written test comprising an essay and comprehension of 15 marks each would be held along with the evaluation of teaching skills. The Selection Committee may also hold computer proficiency tests if they so desire.

AWES Teacher Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern
The recruitment process for Army Public School PRT TGT PGT 2024 comprises three Stages:
i) Screening Exam
ii) Interview, and
iii) Assessment of teaching skills and computer proficiency.
