RRC NER Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) North Eastern Railway (NER), Gorakhpur has released the official notification inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates under the Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2024-25 for Group ‘C’ & Group ‘D’ posts in North Eastern Railway and Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW), Varanasi.

As mentioned in the official notification of RRC the upper age limit for the mentioned posts is between 30 – 33 years (age relaxation as per rules). The selection of applicants will be based on a CBT.

Interested candidates who meet the requirements as mentioned in the notification can apply online through the official website of RRC on or before the last date i.e., 11-11-2024. Eligibility Criteria of RRC Recruitment 2024

Below we have summarized the required eligibility criteria such as qualification required, age limit, experience, etc. Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for any post mentioned in the notification.

Application Fee

For all candidates except those mentioned below Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, Persons With Benchmark Disability (PwBDs), Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes Rs. 250/- (Rs. Two Hundred Fifty) only.

The candidates, who are found eligible for consideration for recruitment against Scouts & Guides quota shall be assessed on the following basis:-

(A) Written Examination through Computer Based Test (CBT) (60 marks)
(B) Marks on certificates (40 marks)

The empanelment will be made on the basis of overall marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination and marks on certificates.
